How does a VidHop link open the app?
When someone taps your link in a story, VidHop's page sends them straight to the YouTube or Twitch app instead of Instagram's built-in browser. If the app isn't installed, the video opens on the web.
Why is there a short countdown before the app opens?
Links on the Basic and Creator plans show the VidHop badge for 3 seconds. Creator Plus links open instantly without a badge.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → VidHop. On Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → VidHop. Deleting the app or your VidHop account does not cancel the subscription.
I paid, but the app still shows Basic.
Open Settings in VidHop and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same account you bought with. If it still doesn't update, write to us.
I switched between iPhone and Android.
Your VidHop account is tied to how you signed in (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android). Write to us from your account e-mail, and we'll help you move your plan, name and links.
My own domain says it's waiting for DNS.
Check that your DNS provider has a CNAME record from your subdomain (for example go) to vidhop.gg. Changes can take up to 24 hours. Still stuck? Send us the domain.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. More on vidhop.gg/delete-account.
