VidHop Terms of Service

VidHop is a link service for creators, provided by Semere drift ApS (see "Who we are" below). By using the app and the service you agree to these terms.

What the service does

You paste a link to a video or channel and get a short link that opens the YouTube or Twitch app directly for the people who tap it. We show click statistics per link. VidHop is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, Twitch, Amazon or Meta, and all video content belongs to the respective channels.

VidHop uses YouTube API Services. By using VidHop you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Subscriptions

Basic is free. Creator and Creator Plus are monthly subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play and tied to your store account. The price in your local currency is shown in the app before you buy (in Denmark DKK 19 and DKK 39 per month). The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds follow the store's rules.

If the service shuts down

We may discontinue the service with at least 60 days' notice, given in the app and on the store listing. New subscriptions are not sold once notice is given. Running subscriptions are cancelled, and no charges are made for periods after the shutdown. Prepaid periods are refunded pro rata under the store's rules (Apple/Google), and we support such refunds. Your statutory consumer rights apply regardless of these terms.

Your links and your domain

Your links keep working for as long as you have an account. A name such as yourname.vidhop.gg is yours while the subscription is active; if you fall back to Basic, the name may be released after 30 days. If you use your own domain, you are responsible for the domain and its DNS setup.

Acceptable use

You may not use VidHop to link to illegal content, for spam or deception, to circumvent YouTube's or Twitch's rules, or to overload our servers. We may suspend access and remove links if these terms are broken.

Reports and moderation

Anyone can report a VidHop link they believe is illegal or breaks these terms at vidhop.gg/report or by writing to abuse@vidhop.gg with the link and the reason — ideally with a name and e-mail so we can reply. A person reads every report; we don't use automated moderation. Depending on how serious and repeated the breach is, we may disable a link, remove a name or domain, or close the account. We tell the creator what we did and why, unless the law prevents it, and the creator can object by replying — we will then review the case again. The person who reported is told the outcome.

Liability

The service is provided as is. We are not liable for losses caused by links not working, inaccurate statistics, or changes to the apps and rules of YouTube, Twitch, Apple or Google.

What data we process and how you delete your account is described in the privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. We announce significant changes in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the law requires a faster change. If you don't agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.

Vilkår for brug af VidHop

VidHop er en linktjeneste til creators, som leveres af Semere drift ApS (se "Hvem vi er" nedenfor). Ved at bruge appen og tjenesten accepterer du disse vilkår.

Hvad tjenesten gør

Du indsætter et link til en video eller kanal og får et kort link, som åbner YouTube- eller Twitch-appen direkte hos dem, der trykker på det. Vi viser klik-statistik pr. link. VidHop er ikke tilknyttet YouTube, Google, Twitch, Amazon eller Meta, og alt videoindhold tilhører de respektive kanaler.

VidHop bruger YouTube API Services. Ved at bruge VidHop accepterer du at være bundet af YouTubes servicevilkår.

Abonnementer

Basic er gratis. Creator og Creator Plus er månedlige abonnementer, som købes gennem App Store eller Google Play og er knyttet til din butikskonto. I Danmark koster de 19 kr. og 39 kr. om måneden; i andre lande vises prisen i lokal valuta i appen, før du køber. Abonnementet fornyes automatisk hver måned, indtil du opsiger det i App Store- eller Google Play-indstillingerne senest 24 timer før periodens udløb. Refusion følger butikkens regler.

Hvis tjenesten lukker

Vi kan lukke tjenesten med mindst 60 dages varsel, som gives i appen og på butikssiden. Nye abonnementer sælges ikke, når varslet er givet. Løbende abonnementer opsiges, og der opkræves ikke for perioder efter lukningen. Forudbetalte perioder refunderes forholdsmæssigt efter butikkens regler (Apple/Google), og vi bakker op om refusion. Dine rettigheder efter købeloven gælder uanset disse vilkår.

Dine links og dit domæne

Dine links virker, så længe du har en konto. Et navn som ditnavn.vidhop.gg er dit, så længe abonnementet er aktivt; falder du tilbage til Basic, kan navnet frigives efter 30 dage. Bruger du dit eget domæne, er du selv ansvarlig for domænet og dets DNS-opsætning.

Acceptabel brug

Du må ikke bruge VidHop til at linke til ulovligt indhold, til spam eller vildledning, til at omgå YouTubes eller Twitchs regler eller til at overbelaste vores servere. Vi kan lukke for adgang og fjerne links, hvis vilkårene brydes.

Anmeldelse og moderation

Alle kan anmelde et VidHop-link, som de mener er ulovligt eller bryder vilkårene, på vidhop.gg/report eller ved at skrive til abuse@vidhop.gg med linket og en begrundelse — gerne også navn og e-mail, så vi kan svare. Et menneske læser hver anmeldelse; vi bruger ikke automatisk moderation. Afhængigt af hvor alvorligt og gentaget bruddet er, kan vi deaktivere et link, fjerne et navn eller domæne eller lukke kontoen. Vi fortæller creatoren, hvad vi har gjort og hvorfor, medmindre loven forhindrer det, og creatoren kan gøre indsigelse ved at svare — så vurderer vi sagen igen. Den, der har anmeldt, får besked om udfaldet.

Ansvar

Tjenesten leveres, som den er. Vi er ikke ansvarlige for tab som følge af, at links ikke virker, at statistik er unøjagtig, eller at YouTube, Twitch, Apple eller Google ændrer deres apps og regler.

Ændringer

Vi kan opdatere vilkårene; datoen øverst viser den seneste version. Væsentlige ændringer varsler vi i appen mindst 30 dage før, de træder i kraft, medmindre loven kræver en hurtigere ændring. Er du ikke enig, kan du opsige abonnementet og slette din konto.
